JUST TWO  THINGS  TO  A  SUCCESSFUL  CAREER  --- A POSITIVE MIND  & WILL POWER !!

Much has been written about our changing life style , the work from home (WFH) norm of the day  & the various career options. So, what are the rules of this game of choosing your career platform in which you are the player & the winner?

1 GETTING  READY WITH CONFIDENCE : POSITIVE MIND

There may be so many ideas about what you want to do. Think well & select the best one suitable as per your qualifications & nature & about which you are confident. Remember , only you know what is best for you. At this stage , DO NOT DISCUSS IT WITH EVEN YOUR CLOSE ONES , because your mind is still in a confused state & ONLY YOU CAN DECIDE. You will face a lot of obstacles but be firm in your decision. For example, if you are passionate about teaching & well qualified for it , you can teach online. LFH has already caught up.

2 STARTING THE GAME ---ROLLING THE DICE

Now that the decision of choosing your career path is made, select your subject & class you want to handle. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF. Search all options available , the internet opens up a whole wide world for you. Do not keep money as top priority until you establish a name for yourself.

3 HARD WORK : WILL POWER

Whatever the path , you need to excel in it & this is the most important thing to do. Thirty years back , when I decided to have my own coaching centre , I started with just 1 high school student inspite of having a P G Degree, Undeterred , I taught him basic science for a meagre fee. Within two years, I started teaching Chemistry to higher secondary students. This was possible only because I had updated myself with the current syllabus, reading on the various topics & working out each & every solution to the various problems . In fact , the hours I spent to increase my knowledge was more than the hours I took classes. It paid off  & there was no turning back .

4 DO INNOVATIVE THINGS :

You have to think out of the box to shine. Now, in teaching, I explained the topic in the way I would have liked to be taught without losing the grip of the facts of the content. The classes were short & crisp. I prepared my own question papers , sticking to the pattern suggested by the board. The work load was heavy , a bit overwhelming at times but my will power  did wonders.

5 WINNER :

In about ten years , you can be a master player in your field , scaling heights to expand. But a continuous upgrading of your knowledge , curriculum & new sets of your own question papers are a must.

It was just three years ago , that I decided to call it quits! Still , my passion for teaching hasn’t left me.
